POTENTIAL
In the Tank
2 Lobsters (Liz & Angela) debate the philosophies of life in a lobster tank at a seafood restaurant.
Directed by Carolyn Samuel
Our lobsters will be played by Tracy Richardson and Kelly Boegel respectively.
LIZ:
A down-to-earth, pragmatic sort, of no particular age. A creature inclined to action rather than introspection, one who ekes out a living as best she can, dealing with the realities of the moment.
ANGELA:
A fairly philosophical type who opserves much and ponders even more. Though moving through a world that is well beyond her control, this individual manages to maintain a positive outlook on life.

2007-2008
2008 Quonta Festival adjudicator Richard Howard held a Director's Workshop based on one-act plays on, June 6-8th, 2008 in Sault Ste. Marie, On.
Representing the Gateway Theatre Guild in this one-act play festival was our very own Carolyn Samuel, Kristin Shepherd, Kelly Boegel, and Tania Cicciarelli on tech, with their submission of 'Traces of Memories' by Ann Wuehler.
Upon their return, Kristin was asked to share the experience with us and from such a wonderful opprtunity, she said:
This year, the Guild would love to send two, even three one act plays to the festival. If you’re thinking about taking on a new role in theatre and want to participate in any way, don’t hesitate to contact us. If you have questions, please send me an email at carolyngail19@hotmail.com. All the best,

"We were thrilled to have North Bay represented. And what a powerful piece!"
